Resumen

In this work, the effect that bio-based lubricants have on the tribological and hardness properties of a mechanical system was studied for extending their industrial utilization. The results showed that Castor oil has potential application in the metal-mechanic industry as lubricant in fine blanking and wire drawing processes, as well as in gear transmissions systems.
