Resumen

The paper provides an overview of a research conducted by the Air Training and Educational Centre of the University of ?ilina on implementing Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) into flight training curricula for a range of VFR and IFR licences. Since it was concluded that the current training curricula are insufficient in covering GNSS related topics a new set of amendments to the existing curricula was proposed. A test flight programme was conducted to verify the legitimacy of such changes. The programme has proven, that the changes are beneficial and those changes were submitted to EASA for further evaluation. A number of other findings were noted down during the research, most notable of which are listed at the end of the paper.
