The information presented in the review allows us to highlight the most successful scientific developments and general trends in the development of current research in the field of the use of effective technologies for the elimination of hydrocarbon pollutants or purification of oil-polluted wastewaters based on the combined use of nanocomposites, nanocatalysts and biocatalysts, allowing us to improve the target results and obtain a synergistic effect.
