Resumen

The article deals with issues related to the use of BIM for safety in construction. The article is devoted to the review of the British standard PAS 1192-6 - Specification of sharing and application of structured information on health and safety with the help of BIM. When planning, designing and building buildings or infrastructure, designers and contractors are required to apply the principles of prevention and mitigate risks to health and safety in the applied design solutions. And this necessarily applies to both end users and employed persons in construction. The specified standard assumes an increase in the use of digital information applications for modeling in the development of design (project). This contributes to the fact that the designer will be able to identify and anticipate hazards and risks in the design ("predictable risk"). Designers will be able to use a variety of applications that allow them to define locations for accurate visualization, to determine the sequence of actions, and this can be realistically demonstrated at the modeling stage.
