The nature of science: a didactical issue
Abstract
The paper discusses the communication issue on the nature of science for scholars. After making explicit the author’s position on the structure of scientific knowledge with regard to the relation theory/experiment/technology, three case studies are presented which focus different aspects of the relationship. In all cases (thermodynamics, superfluid helium, phase transitions) the combination between theories and experimental data differs in development from one case to anotherDownloads
