MANAGERIAL IMPLICATIONS OF RAMAYANA

Pramod Pathak

Resumen

The practice of Management is as ancient as civilization and from affairs of the state to matters of the society were all managed rather effectively even though schools of Management and the Discipline of Management was not there. Our ancient religious narratives like Ramayana offer several lessons on Management that can add value to modern Management literature. The present paper is an attempt to discuss the managerial implications of Ramayana and is based on the authors deliberations as an invited speaker in the International Conference on Ramayana organized jointly by Ministry of Education, Culture and Art, Government of Fiji and Fiji Sevashram Sangh at Suva during October 2016.
