Within the scope of oleo tourism which is based on activities related to olive production, not only gastronomy but also nature and cultural elements are included. Turkey, which is at the forefront of olive production in the world, has high potential to integrate its geographical and cultural attractions with olive and thus can stand out in oleo tourism. The purpose of this research is to examine the potential of enabling current olive production facilities in the country within the scope of agritourism, considering the activities of the countries that can be described as the pioneers in oleo tourism. This study has importance for providing leading knowledge to regional and national organizations which are expected to work in cooperation to develop agritourism activities.
