Resumen
O presente artigo tem como objetivo descrever o processo de avaliação de uma política pública, através do estudo de caso do hospital municipal de pequeno porte do município de Quijingue no estado da Bahia. Utiliza o método dedutivo, com a coleta indireta dos dados, através de pesquisa documental e bibliográfica que fundamentaram o tema. Divide o estudo em três etapas: a primeira busca definições e conceitos acerca da Política Nacional de Hospitais de Pequeno Porte (PNHPP); a segunda sobre um referencial teórico de avaliação de políticas públicas; e a terceira etapa relata o estudo de caso do HPP do município de Quijingue (BA) para as considerações finais.Palavras-chave: Avaliação.
