The development of public bicycle systems increases cycling mobility. In recent years, systems have changed constantly, adapting to the needs of users. More and more advanced technological solutions are being introduced and they force continuous development and verification of previous assumptions. The high popularity of city bike systems has influenced the interest of researchers in measuring their success. The basis for creating the classification should be striving to meet the transport needs of potential system users and expectations related to new means of transport.
