Resumen
This manuscript demonstrates the feasibility of using a quasi-static approach in assessing the risk level of operating a vehicle in a strong side wind. The proposed quasi-static model can be applied to the risk evaluation of wind-prone highways and to the establishment of traffic control strategies against side-wind hazards.
