Multidimensionality of poverty. A review of the literature

Briggite Aguirre

Resumen

This paper aims to exam the concept of poverty from the literature point of view, which contains various connotations and possibilities that ultimately allow us to understand what it means to be poor and who are or may become poor. Particularly, this work describes the case of a region known as ?the Argentine Chaco,? where the dynamics between rural and urban areas coexist with poverty.
