Interannual variability of rainfall in the Iguaçu basin

Resumen

A diagnosis on interannual variability of rainfall in the Iguaçu basin, state of Paraná, Brazil, is provided. Rainfall data collected by the National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL) comprising the period 1967-1997 were analyzed. Different statistical parameters were used to analyze precipitation variability in the basin. Results showed extensive rainfall variability
