ADVISABILITY OF INVESTING IN FLEET USED IN COLLECTIVE URBAN TRANSPORT BASED ON GDYNIA PASSENGERS? ASSESSMENT OF TRAVEL COMFORT

Resumen

The article presents the results of primary research on the differences in the passengers? assessment of comfort of travel in the new and old vehicles, taking into account the buses and trolleybuses used in the network managed by the Gdynia Public Transport Authority. The research was used to assess the advisability of investing in fleet operated in collective urban transport, where such investing is considered one of the tools aimed at promoting an increase in the usage of collective urban transport in the excursions of the city dwellers.
