Resumen
En este trabajo se realizó un estudio bibliométrico descriptivo-retrospectivo de la revista Ingeniería Energética en el período comprendido entre los años 2008 y 2018, con el fin de evaluar su desempeño e impacto. Para ello se analizaron indicadores tales como: el promedio de artículos por año, número de citas y autocitas, índice i10, índice h, cantidad de referencias, participación de autores extranjeros, idioma y temáticas de los artículos, entre otros aspectos importantes. Se publicaron 282 artículos, con una media de 25,6 artículos por año. La revista recibió 413 citas y posee índices i10 y h iguales a 9. Se registraron 3283 referencias bibliográficas y 494 autores firmantes, de los cuales 348 solo publicaron un artículo. Se obtuvo un índice de 2,99 para un porcentaje de colaboración del 82%. El 23% de los autores firmantes son de nacionalidad extranjera, con un predominio de escritores mexicanos.In this paper, a descriptive-retrospective bibliometric study of the Ingeniería Energética journal was carried out in the period between 2008 and 2018, in order to evaluate its performance and impact. For this, it was analyzed: average of articles per year, number of citations, i10 index, h index, number of references, participation of foreign authors, language and thematic of the articles, among other important statistics. 282 articles were published. The journal received 413 citations and has i10 and h indexes equal to 9. Specifically 3283 bibliographic references were registered and 494 signatory authors, of which 348 only published one article. An index of 2,99 was obtained for a collaboration percentage of 82%. On the other hand, 23% of the signing authors were of foreign nationality, with a predominance of Mexican writers.
