Resumen
It has been brought to the university administration that some students were not eating well because of insufficient funds. The literature reviewed evidenced similar issues in other universities throughout the world. For Malaysia, the media has highlighted that students at public universities do not have enough money to buy food. This study is significant to ensure that their needy students? academic performance is not jeopardized by malnutrition.
