PROFIL PDAM KABUPATEN SEMARANG (TAHUN 2008 SAMPAI DENGAN 2011)

Resumen

PDAM Kabupaten Semarang merupakan Perusahaan Daerah yang bergerak di bidang air minum, yang bersifat public utility. Hal ini berarti penekanan bidang usaha penyediaan air minum bukan terletak pada tujuan meraih laba, tetapi tujuan utama adalah mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat akan air bersih. Kegiatan utamanya meliputi penyediaan, pengembangan pelayanan sarana dan prasarana   serta   distribusi   air   bersih.   Tujuan   lainnya   adalah   ikut   serta   mengembangkan perekonomian guna menunjang pembangunan daerah dengan memperluas lapangan pekerjaan, serta mencari laba sebagai sumber utama pembiayaan bagi daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui profil PDAM Kabupaten Semarang yang terdiri dari Cabang ungaran, Ambarawa dan Salatiga terkait jumlah biaya, volume penjualan, jumlah pendapatan, jumlah pelanggan, dan jumlah pengaduan. Data sekunder yang digunakan tahun 2008-2011, dengan teknik analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; jumlah biaya operasional yang dikeluarkan oleh   PDAM Cabang Ungaran periode tahun 2008-2011 berfluktuasi. Volume penjualan, jumlah pendapatan, dan jumlah pelanggan mengalami peningkatan, dan prosentase pengaduan hanya 5%. Pada PDAM Cabang Ambarawa, jumlah biaya operasional, volume penjualan, jumlah pendapatan, dan jumlah pelanggan meningkat, prosentase pengaduan 11%. PDAM Cabang Salatiga, jumlah biaya oprasional volume penjualan, dan jumlah pendapatan meningkat, prosentase pengaduan hanya 2%. PDAM Semarang is a regional company engaged in the drinking water, which is a public utility. This means that the emphasis of infrastructure to provide drinking water is not on the profit goal, but its main purpose is sufficient demand of clean water. Its main activities include the provision, development of service infrastructure and distribution of clean water. Another aim is to participate in developing the economy in order to support regional development by expanding employment opportunities, as well as for profit as the main source of financing for the region.The purpose of this study is to identify the profile of Semarang PDAM consisting of branches Ungaran, Ambarawa, and Salatiga associated total costs, sales volume, amount of revenue, number  of customers, and the number of complaints. Secondary data were used in 2008-2011, with a descriptive analysis techniques.The results showed the number of operational costs incurred by the branch taps Ungaran 2008-2011 period fluctuate. Sales volume, the amount of revenue, and the number of customers has increased, and the percentage of complaints is only 5% .At the branch taps Ambarawa number of operational costs, sales volume, amount of revenue, and the number of customers increased 11% and the percentage of complaints. Branch taps Salatiga number of operational costs, sales volume, amount of revenue, and the number of customers increased, and the percentage of complaints is only 2%.
