Resumen

The article discusses digital twins for transport corridors using sea and waterways in Russia. The physical development of transport today begins to group around the development of transport corridors. The most famous of them are international transport corridors. Substituting a significant portion of human labor and the associated risk factor from management, even in conventional highways, for example in England, with digital methods, has powerful economic results. At the same time, the effects on the ITC can be both more significant and deeper, since they not only perform transport and new functions, but also create technological and business clusters that did not coexist before. The economic value of the ITC lies not in the constructed transport routes (these are costs), but in the development and connection of economic clusters, including both the movement of people and goods. Such approaches and implementations of MTC, successfully found from different angles, have led today to the fact that they are beginning to develop, both at the country level and at the city level, while digital solutions began to rapidly transform into technologies based on digital twins, blockchains, physical internet, internet of things, MASS, etc.
